The Stephen Perse Sixth Form provides tasty and nutritious food all day long. We can cater
to most dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan and halal.
Teenage bodies go through a huge amount of physical growth and development; your energy needs are pretty much at their highest while you’re a sixth form student. So it’s really important that you get the food and nutrition you need to focus on the day.
That’s why we have dedicated sixth form menus, providing wholesome yet delicious food that’s tailored to your daily nutrition needs. So from lunch with friends to that afternoon pick-me-up, food is sure to be an enjoyable part of your day.
As well as offering snacks and drinks throughout the day, we provide a healthy, balanced lunch menu throughout the week that offers plenty of variation. We can cater to most dietary requirements, from vegetarian to halal, and we’re allergen aware.
There are hot mains, always including a vegetarian option and a soup, as well as pasta bars and jacket potatoes with various fillings. For those with lunchtime clubs and activities, we have a well-stocked ‘to go’ sandwich and salad bar. You’ll find hot and cold desserts too.
‘World Food Wednesdays’ take place across Stephen Perse once a month, celebrating food from a specific culture. We also hold monthly ‘Meat Free Mondays’ in recognition of the need to eat a balanced and sustainable diet, limiting our consumption of meat where possible.
Our dining rooms
Your eating environment can be almost as important as the food itself, especially when you’re studying hard and you need a proper break. So our sixth form dining spaces have been designed to provide grown-up yet relaxed surroundings for our students. And in the summer, you can take advantage of our outdoor seating and enjoy your lunch in the sunshine!
One of the great things about being a sixth form student is that you have more independence, taking more responsibility for managing your time and studies - so you may wish to eat outside of the sixth form once in a while. There’s a whole host of options within walking distance, including independent cafes and coffee shops as well as big chains such as Nandos and Costa Coffee.
