Assessment Process for Year 7 (11+) and Year 9 (13+) Entry
Entry Assessments
Applicants will be invited to attend our assessment day, which takes place in January each year. We aim to ensure this day is as enjoyable as possible for all children. We provide refreshments throughout the day and all the tasks are intentionally designed to be short, accessible and stimulating.
Assessments can cover areas such as English, maths, verbal/non-verbal reasoning.
Offers and Acceptances
We begin making offers in early February. The deadline to accept a place is the first Monday in March.
Key Dates 2025/2026
- Closing date for applications and scholarship applications 6 December 2024
- Entrance assessment day – Saturday, 18 January 2025
- Scholarship auditions and interviews - Scholarships (external) will be arranged with applicants
- Offers will be made in early February
- Acceptance of an offer is due in early March
