The Peliblog takes its name from the Stephen Perse Student Newspaper, The Peligraph. This was founded about eight years ago, and its twice-termly publication is now a highlight of school life. The Peliblog was started in 2012 to provide a platform for debate within the school, and so that we could communicate our ideas to a wider audience. However, the fundamental aims behind it are the same as those of the Peligraph: to encourage creative and original thinking; to raise awareness of key issues facing today’s society; to be an inspiring voice for the whole student body. All articles (aside from Guest Blogs) are written by students at the Stephen Perse Foundation, predominantly Sixth Formers (aged 16-18) but occasionally by students from younger years.
Qifel Zou is the current Peligraph editor and Anna Banks is the editor of the 6th Form blog. They are supervised by English teacher Rebecca Taylor.
