Universities and guidance
Inspiration and guidance are the keys to success when it comes to choosing what to do next – it's all about finding what's right for you.
A quarter of our university applicants in the 2013-14 year have secured Oxford or Cambridge offers – a tribute to our inspirational teaching and specialist advice on university entry.
But our personalised approach also means that we recognise Oxbridge is not for everyone. Your goals are as individual as you are and we will do our best to help you find the best route to achieving them, whatever that may be.
'We have a great ratio of university offers per student – well over three. It means that most are getting offers from their university of choice'
If, like most of our students, you plan to continue your studies, we’ll
get you ready for university entrance in the UK or abroad with
preparatory lessons, a mock-exam day and follow-up interviews with external experts, aptitude test preparation and all the other help and advice you
need. We have specialist staff offering guidance on Oxbridge – 25 to 30
per cent of our students get places every year – and colleges in North
America and Europe, as well as careers in science and medicine, work experience and
even gap years.
If you’re undecided about your next step, your tutor is there to discuss the options and help you find the most suitable path. You can check out what the world’s leading higher education institutions have got to offer at our annual universities showcase and find out more about placements and holiday experience at the Futurewise Fair. We also invite organisations such as Morgan Stanley and Deloitte to come in and explain the attractions of their training schemes, in case you want to make your way in the world straight away. If you need inspiration about your next step or are investigating your options, our inspire me programme is just what you're looking for.
And if you want to defy convention, we're more than happy to help with that too.
